Pharmacy Services

We are pleased to offer a variety of specializations, many of which you can not find at the larger chain drug stores, such as Diabetic Self-Management classes and personalized care.

  • Vaccinations
We offer on-site vaccinations for influenza, shingles and more. Since our regular pharmacists are licensed to administer vaccines, you can do it on your schedule!
  • Drug Disposal Services
Too many people are dumping prescriptions down the drain or toilet which is harmful to our environment, especially our lakes. Thanks to a partnership with the Great Lakes Clean Water Organization, we offer drug disposal, free of charge to our customers! Due to health concerns, we cannot accept controlled substances, injectables or syringes. More information available in-store!
  • Durable Medical Equipment
Some of our most popular items in the store are the Diabetic Socks that are offered in a variety of sizes and colors. Walkers, Bathtub handles and Canes are also availble in our D.M.E. department. Many of these items are covered under Medicare (with a prescription) and are of no out of pocket cost to you! If we do not have a particular item in stock, our pharmacy staff would be more than happy to look into special ordering products to suit your needs.
  • Diabetic Education Classes
If you or someone you know has recently been diagnosed with diabetes, you know that it can be a challenge to manage your health care needs. That's why we offer Diabetic Education classes to our customers, so our trained professionals can help you! See the Patient Education page for more information.

Covered by most insurance*
Medicare/Medicaid, most PBM/HMO's (Blue Cross/HAP). We can also check
with your insurance company before
administering the vaccine. For those
without insurance, it is $25.

Flu season is here and the best way to make sure you
aren't at
risk of getting the flu is to get vaccinated. Flu shots are now available
at Fairway
Drugs. Our regular pharmacists are licensed vaccinators, so no
appointments are
necessary.
